Departing from Rovinj between approximately 8:00 and 9:00 AM, guests join a local fisherman aboard his working boat for an intimate morning experience shaped by tradition, routine and life at sea. Moving through the Rovinj archipelago, guests witness the quiet mechanics of Adriatic fishing — lifting nets, sorting the morning catch and observing a disappearing maritime culture still preserved by only a small number of local fishermen.

Nothing feels staged.

Wet ropes slide across the deck. Fish, cuttlefish and octopus emerge from the nets. Salt, smoke and sea air mix together while conversations unfold naturally through movement and experience rather than performance.

Part of the daily catch is then prepared directly on board and grilled over open flame while the boat drifts quietly between the islands surrounding Rovinj. Served simply with local olive oil, bread and wine, the meal reflects the essence of Adriatic coastal life — immediate, raw and deeply connected to the sea.

Seen from the water in the early hours of the day, Rovinj reveals a quieter and far more intimate side of itself, far removed from conventional tourism.
