Private Transfer to Monte Mulini Adults Exclusive Hotel Rovinj
Bel'Istria provides private chauffeur transfers to Monte Mulini Adults Exclusive Hotel from all regional airports. Pula is the closest at around 40 minutes. Trieste is approximately 2 hours, Ljubljana 2 hours 30 minutes, and Venice and Zagreb around 3 hours. The hotel sits in its own bay above Lone Bay, beside the Zlatni Rt forest park and a 15-minute walk along the waterfront from Rovinj old town. Drivers who know the Rovinj approach deliver guests to the hotel entrance with luggage handled on arrival.
Arriving at Monte Mulini Hotel Rovinj
Monte Mulini sits on the Monte Mulini hill on the southern edge of Rovinj, in a quiet bay above Lone Bay and wrapped by the Zlatni Rt forest park. It shares this stretch of coast with its Maistra sister hotels, Lone and Grand Park, but keeps its own adults-only calm, with around 113 rooms and suites set among Mediterranean gardens and two pools. Every balcony faces the cove, the garden or the sea.
The approach runs through Rovinj and down toward the marina and the forest park, where the roads narrow and parking near the hotels is limited in season. We bring guests to the Monte Mulini entrance directly, so there is no circling for a space or hauling luggage along the Lungomare after a long flight. From the door it is a 15-minute walk into the old town along Mulini Beach, or a two-minute transfer when you would rather not walk.
Closest airport is Pula (PUY). Explore further with a private jet experience or a luxury yacht cruise.

What Monte Mulini Guests Come For
Monte Mulini is adults-only, and that is the point. There are no family crowds and no noise around the pool, just a quiet, grown-up calm in a five-star Leading Hotels of the World property set in a protected forest park above the sea. Guests come for a Rovinj stay that stays peaceful, close enough to the old town to walk in for dinner and far enough out to feel like a retreat.
Dining is a large part of the draw. The Wine Vault is built around a cellar of roughly 500 labels, with a sommelier guiding pairings and cellar tastings alongside a French-influenced kitchen. Mediterraneo serves Mediterranean cooking on a terrace over Lone Bay, and breakfast here is something guests single out. For an adults-only hotel, the food and wine are the centre of the evening rather than an afterthought.
The Art Wellness area runs to around 1,000 square metres, with indoor and outdoor pools, saunas, a gym and a Mediterranean garden. Below the hotel, Mulini Beach is one of Rovinj's designed beach clubs, with sunbeds, a cocktail bar and a grill at the waterline. Between the spa, the beach and the forest park at the door, most guests leave the car parked and barely use it, which is exactly why the arrival transfer matters.
Day Trips Bel'Istria Can Arrange From Monte Mulini
Rovinj itself is the first day out, and the easiest. The old town is a 15-minute walk along Mulini Beach and the Lungomare, with the hilltop Church of St Euphemia, the Grisia art street and the harbour at the end of it. The Zlatni Rt forest park starts at the hotel grounds, good for a morning of walking or cycling between swimming coves.
From Rovinj harbour, small boats run to the offshore islands of St Catherine and Red Island, a short crossing for a half day on the water. Bel'Istria can arrange the land legs around that, or a run down to the Lim Bay fjord, around 30 minutes south, for oysters and mussels straight off the water.
Further afield, we take guests across Istria for full-day trips. Pula and its Roman Arena are around 40 minutes south. Poreč and the UNESCO Euphrasian Basilica are roughly 45 minutes north. Motovun and Grožnjan in the truffle and wine country are about an hour inland. These work best as a morning departure with a return before dinner, so the evening stays free for the Wine Vault.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which airport is closest to Monte Mulini Hotel Rovinj?
Pula (PUY) is the closest, around 38 to 45 kilometres and roughly 40 minutes by road. For year-round scheduled flights from Western Europe and the UK, Trieste is about 2 hours and Ljubljana about 2 hours 30 minutes. Venice Marco Polo is around 3 hours and serves the most long-haul connections, with Zagreb a similar distance for arrivals staying within Croatia.
Where does Bel'Istria drop guests at Monte Mulini?
At the hotel entrance on the Monte Mulini hill, off the road down toward Lone Bay and the marina. Parking near the hotels by the forest park is limited in season, so we deliver guests and luggage directly to the door rather than leaving them to navigate the approach, which is particularly useful for late arrivals and first visits to Rovinj.
How far is Monte Mulini from Rovinj old town?
Around a 15-minute walk along Mulini Beach and the Lungomare promenade, or a two to three minute transfer by car. The marina is a few minutes on foot. We can run guests in and out of the old town at any point during the stay, which suits late dinners or evenings out when you would rather not walk back.
Can Bel'Istria arrange day trips from Monte Mulini into Istria?
Yes. From Monte Mulini, Pula and its Arena are around 40 minutes, Poreč and the Euphrasian Basilica about 45 minutes, and Motovun in the truffle valley roughly an hour inland. The Lim Bay fjord is around 30 minutes south. These work well as full-day trips with a morning pickup and an early evening return, arranged the day before or the morning of departure.
